It started as a daydream in Somerville, MA - blossoming out of a friendship and a shared passion for throwing a great dinner party. In 2019, the dream came true when Angela & Demelza co-founded Afterall, a boutique design studio flowering weddings & special events throughout New England. In 2021, the Afterall studio returned to its roots - the Monadnock area of New Hampshire - where Angela & Demelza grew up and grew their lifelong love of gathering & gatherings.

A passion for gathering & community is still at the heart of everything we do. At Afterall, our mission is to create unforgettable floral experiences for our clients, while supporting and strengthening our local community. Our design ethos is centered on sourcing the very best blooms from our local flower farmers, throughout New England’s growing season. Our commitment to buying local is a win-win-win, guaranteeing the freshest flowers for our clients, reducing our environmental impact, and keeping our clients’ floral investments in the community.
